The Home Information Pack (HIP) has been introduced for the sale of all residential properties in England and Wales.
Hill View Property Assessments are able to provide a complete Home Information Pack utilising locally based resources to construct the HIP and our own Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). We believe in offering the local community a local service hence why we use a local companies to compile the HIP and our DEA is based in Malvern.
We can also offer you a standalone Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which can identify areas within your property which could be upgraded to provide the best energy efficiency which will save you money on your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.
We can give you information on where to find what grants are available for loft insulation and cavity wall insulation. Remember grants are available per property not per person, so if you have had grants allowed on a property and then you move house, you may well be entitled for grants on your new property.
Hill View Property Assessments can also provide an EPC for properties which are rented. From 1st October 2008 this requirement will be mandatory for landlords to provide an EPC to NEW tenants. We reccomend that an EPC is generated before this date so that any upgrading works can be done. We can then offer an updated EPC at a reduced cost thus showing new tenants that energy efficiency work has been done and the property benefits in lower utility bills.
So if you are moving home and require a HIP or you would like to find out how you can save money on your home's heating and electricity bills or if you are a landlord looking to attract tenants by lowering utility bills then contact Hill View Property Assessments to show you how.
